Fosse Way

  • The Fosse Way Solar & Storage Project is a proposed renewable energy development located in Warwickshire adjacent to the Fosse Way corridor
  • The project has secured planning permission for a 49.99MW AC solar photovoltaic development together with a co-located 20MW AC battery energy storage system and associated infrastructure following a successful appeal decision in May 2026
  • The development will utilise single-axis tracker technology to maximise generation efficiency and is expected to generate enough renewable electricity to supply the equivalent annual needs of approximately 20,651 homes
  • The scheme has been designed to retain and enhance existing hedgerows, trees and field patterns while delivering significant biodiversity net gain and allowing continued agricultural use through grazing across the site
