At Novergy we believe the time has come for zero emissions with zero subsidy
Solar is one of the leading sources of zero emissions electricity generation, with over 500 GW installed worldwide; in the UK solar is already meeting 5% of the UK’s total demand.
In 2019, the UK Government was the first, globally, to commit to becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Amongst other things this will require significant increases in the production of all types of renewable energy, including solar.
Solar energy is not only zero emissions, but also affordable. Falling global prices for equipment now mean that in the UK solar electricity is cheaper than conventional power generation and no longer needs government subsidies.
We need more renewable energy and Novergy wants to be part of this journey.
The Novergy Team have one of the strongest track records in the UK Solar PV sector with direct involvement in over 1GW of large-scale solar projects, that's about 15% of all sites built to date. Our mission now is the origination, development, design, financing, construction and operation of new solar PV in the UK.

“Climate Change is the defining issue of our time and we are at a defining moment. From shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding, the impacts of climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale. Without drastic action today, adapting to these impacts in the future will be more difficult and costly.” – United Nations 2019
